The Board to Board Connector Material
The base material used here is a copper alloy with gold plating. The characteristics of this gold plating material allow the mating process to be smoother, creating less friction and thus causing less damage to the contacts with frequent mating and unmating. The small size connector helps to maximize PCB space, as well as lowering cost. It has a wide range of pin counts and versatile design, making it ideal for a wide range of applications, currently most used for signal transfer.
