Connector Type
The connector with TU5005 series is a 2.54mm pitch pin header and box header for wire to board connections. This series offers design flexibility with the option of several features and available in both single and dual row. Fool proof mechanisms is featured, as well as the option of using a polarizing key. Available circuit sizes range from 01 to 80 positions. The base material used can be chosen between phosphor bronze and brass, with tin or gold plating. At a current rating of 3A AC/DC, this connector series can be used for both signal and power.
Another connector TU5006 series is a 2.54mm pitch wire to board connector, available in both single and dual row and circuit sizes 02 to 64 positions. This series features a front latch which aims to increase mating retention. With a front latch feature, the connectors are designed to still be able to achieve a low profile height at 7.45mm for the right angle style mounting. Vertical style mounting layout is also available. Fool proof mechanisms are designed as a post on the housing plug and also polarization slots on the PCB header in order to avoid misinsertion. The base material used here is phosphor bronze with tin or gold plating.
