TYU new design for high-speed cable connector solution following PCIe 5.0 and future PCIe 6.0 Spec requirements in data centers, servers, and storage units.
In this design, the wires are directly soldered to the signal contact and completely eliminates the traditional method of using a paddle card in the cable connector. By eliminating a costly paddle card, which often times is also difficult to assemble in the manufacturing process, the direct wire to contact soldering method improves manufacturing efficiency and stability. This new process also allows for a more consistent signal integrity result for every cable connector produced. The solution is compatible to OCP standard SFF-TA-1016, enabling users flexibility in board connector options.
