The initial challenge our customer was facing is the need to increase connector electrical performance while maintaining the same dimensional space and pin count from the previous model. With this in mind, we came up with the solution of designing specific pins for signal and power. Thus increasing the size and pitch for power pins and decreasing the size and pitch for signal pins. Below are the few series that we custom design for our customer:
TS2016 Series is a 2.00mm/1.00mm pitch for power and signal respectively with power pin withstanding 4.5A max current(AWG 24 wire)
TU2019 Series is a 2.00mm/1.00mm pitch for power and signal respectively with power pin withstanding 5.2A max current (AWG 22 wire)
TU1504 Series is a 1.50mm/1.00mm pitch for power and signal respectively with power pin withstanding 4.8A max current (AWG 24 wire)
TS1226 Series is a 1.25mm/0.80mm pitch for power and signal respectively with power pin withstanding 4.2A max current (AWG 24 wire)
